Jobspice.com – Prepare your resume online, for free.

Came along this handy web site on a Twitter post and thought it’s interesting to share. Started creating my own. It’s getting into shape.
Why I thought of posting a short note on this is because I think this will get big. Soon. If you Google for “resume writing” it will give you a big list of pay sites where they provide you different levels of services. From resume writing templates to personal live assistance in providing you with a personalized resume. And these can cost you something around $1000! or more. For many of us starting out, what we need is a nice looking template that we can create with much hassle. Ofcourse people can make their own with their own creativity. But for someone like me, I’d be happy if someone else does it all for me. Well, JobSpice will not do it ‘all’ for you, but it will do most. You can create your own headings, etc., and then fill the contents. The good news is, there are number of styles which will let you choose the one you like. Ofcourse this is available already elsewhere if you are willing to pay for it. The point is not that this is free. It is that people can create there own “stylesheet”. So once the word gets spread, there will be lots of people creating creative resume designs, which will be available freely. And you only need to fill your contents once and then choose between hundreds (not right now but hopefully in the near future) with just a click of the mouse. So pass along this wonderful service.
