This is it!

If you are reading this entry, I humbly welcome you to my blog.

There is always a first for everything. And this is my first ‘ever’ post on my own blog on my own server. Feels good. I was not really in to blogging earlier, but Twitter and Posterous changed my mind. I found that they made me more interested in seeking for more technical information than I would usually do. I chose “Technical-Jar”, because this blog would have all sort of technical stuff (admittedly some of which I don’t even understand). I will be posting both here and Posterous (ofcourse same posts) for a while and also plan on moving (copying) some of the interesting posts back here.

I am pretty tired right now. It took about 4 Wordpress re-installs to get this right. Apparently I have to resolve technicaljar.com to localhost in the /etc/hosts file. Changing the URL in Wordpress settings only messed things up. Is it so obvious because I did not come across that in the guides I followed. Anyways, it’s here and this is it! It would take some time to get this shaped up nicely. But it will get there.

Here I am attaching a photo I took couple of days ago at the Yokohama bay. I know it doesn’t really go with the theme, but I wanted to see if media attaching works and this is the best I could find in my computer. So stay tuned…
